We have a sitter!

Well that's right, Camden is officially a wobbly sitter! I am so excited, this will be so wonderful for him and I know he'll enjoy the new view. He's so big, 6 months and sitting. Crawling will be here in no time... eek! lol. He was so cute, I put a toy down in between his legs and that's all it took to get him to sit. I ran for a camera but by the time Ray or I got it he flopped over. Thankfully he obliged us and did it again. lol.

We got his 6 month photos done today (wow, already?) It was a riot because he did okay at first, got 2 photos, then had a major melt down. Crying tears, the whole bit. After a break where he laid down for literally just a few minutes and sucked his fingers he popped back up and took the rest of the photos. They did go really well considering though so I'm pleased.

Alex will do his 4 year photos next week and Ariana's will be 3 years in May. Whew, so much to do. You know I love it though, they are getting so big.

Mad house

Well I type this with Camden in one arm and Alex in the other so excuse any typos. Things are nuts around here but then we are all getting over our forever long colds still. ((Sigh)). I did do a scrap page on my computer today for my dear Princess Ariana but that's all I can say I accomplished during naps. No cleaning, no naps for anyone except Ariana come to think of it. I have a ton to do today but oh well, needed a break for a minute.

My kids are nuts, maybe it's the weather? Oh well right? They are allowed. Alex is being clingy today too, the kid is making me nuts. Ariana is just *whining*. I think it's a phase but heavens help us all. She whines and mumbles and expects us to know what she wants, go figure.

Well Alex is going to kill poor Camden (who thinks that he needs to type) so I'd better go.

Happy Valentines Day!

Well it's been an uneventful Valentines Day but heck, I'll take it! Alex is still sick as can be although Ariana and Camden's coughs are slowing down finally. What a relief, we've all been sick this last week and we all know how much that sucks!

Valentines day is today and for the first time in many years Ray was actually home for it! (Gasp). I am so excited that he doesn't have college classes tonight even if we have sick kiddos. I got the kids a card and some candy and got Ray some also. He's a doll and surprised me with a beautiful necklace and card (although I admit I was not nice to him last night when I found out he had put it off again... normal for him but he was so sweet!)

I hope you are having a beautiful "I love you" day as we are calling it with the kids.

Family Updates- January 2008

Well, where to begin!?

Camden is doing so well. He's almost 5 months (gasp) and doing awesome. He's extremely tall, like 6-9 month clothes tall. The doctor didn't believe it at his 4 month appt but yep, he's in the 95th percentile and still shooting up for height. His weight was "average" at 15 1/2 lbs (which surprised me because that sounds so big!) He's just a lean mean kiddo. He's started babbling and cooing (I LOVE it). He rolls from back to tummy like a pro and wants to sit and crawl (has work to do of course but he's motivated). He's mommy's cuddle bug and so laid back usually, what a dream.

Ariana is wonderful. She also is *really* tall and has been in 3T clothes for a long time now despite being 2. She is trying to potty train and is more trying my patience than anything. lol. She knows she *can* pee in the potty but doing it constantly is another all together. Grr... She is talking like mad (the sentences she pops up with just amaze me). It's good for Alex to have that around and sure shocks me, she's the best talker by far and it's fun to see. She shadows me all day and wants to be just like mommy, can be really cute but gosh darn annoying at times as well. She is 3 in May already, wow.

Alex is great also. Still teeny but doing well. He's some computer/technology kid (go figure with daddy, uncles and grandpa always around him with their technology crap). He is super smart but lacks a lot of social skills that are appropriate for his age. It makes me kind of sad but it will come in time. He goes to Speech twice a week and is starting to make more sounds than before which is very exciting. He turns 4 in 2 months and that blows me away. Where does time go?
